Sister of Grendel (Series Pilot)

Sister of Grendel is a haunting reimagining of the epic Beowulf in which we learn the monsters are not those told of in myth and legend. The heroine Rehsotis searches for her place in the world as she confronts those who would rather see her and her kind wiped from existence. She shoulders the role of witness and voice for her kind—a race that possesses astounding transformative powers and intelligence.

The two develop an important friendship and become  allies--influencing what will become Curtis' life work.
